Myanmar Rowing Federation Honored Country
Myanmar Rowing Federation could be able to honor the country by bagging two first awards, two gold medals and a silver taking in three events in International Rowing Competition. The highest event having taken part in this year was the First Asia Beach Sports where it had taken two gold medals and one silver which had been held at Bali in Indonesia on October 18 to 26. The events gold medals grabbed were one in Men 500- Meter and one in 250- Meter while the silver was 1000 Meter. More over Myanmar Rowing Federation had captured first award in 20th Thai International Invitational Swam Boat Race held in Ayudhaaya on September 13 to 14 and also the first award in 8th Her Royal Highness Traditional Regatta which held in Pattaya in Thailand from 21 November to 23.

Agreement on exporting Natural Gas to China, Korea and India signed
An agreement on exporting natural gas exploiting from A-1 and A-3 lots to China, Korea and India was signed with Myanmar on December 24. Gas discovered from Gold, Platinum and Silver Gas Deposits at A-1 andA-3 lots in the off shore of Rakhine will export in pipeline to China in the agreement. 60% of natural deposits share was owned by Daewoo, 20 % by Vidak Co., from India, 10 % by Gate Co. and 10% by Gay and Korea respectively. Myanmar could have fetched U$ 2 billion during 2006-2007 financial year.

Best Thesis Writer Awarded In 1st MINGC

Photographer Kyaw Kyaw Win achieves winner award in 69th Int'l Photo Graphic Salon of Japan
Photographer Kyaw Kyaw Win (Myanmar Photograph Association) had received the Winner award with the title " Our Next Generation " who had taken part in photo contest of 69th International Photo Graphic Salon of Japan, it was known. The 8196 entries from 33 countries including Japan had contained in the contest and selected 130 photos among them. The winner awarded photos are slated to show at elsewhere cities in Japan lasting for a year which will begin from April, 2009. Kyaw Kyaw Win (Myanmar Photograph Association) was the one who won second prize in " Better Photo Contest " held under the aegis of American during 2008, consolation prize in La Salon and Several awards in at home and abroad photo contest.
