Japanese film festival
A Japanese film festival will be held from December 10-13 at Thamada cinema in Yangon and again from December 17-20 at Win Lite cinema in Mandalay. The festival is organized by the Japanese embassy and will screen four films, including Turn Over-An Angel is Coming on a Bicycle, Breathe In, Breath Out, Blue and A Scene at the Sea. One film will screen per day. Tickets for the festival are free of charge and can be collected at the participating cinemas. Alternatively tickets can be picked up at the Japanese embassy, 100 Natmauk Road. Tickets will be given on a first come, first serve basis. The films start at 6 pm on weekdays and at 3:30 pm on weekends.

Entertainment of Anayeint and vocalist to be enjoyed at Market Festival of Jivitadana Sangha Hospital
The 20th market festival of Jivitadana Sangha Hospital for donation will be held at this hospital on 19 December (Saturday).The booths will be opened commencing from 3:00 pm and varieties of foods, traditional medicines, medicines, medical products and gifts are being sold. The opening ceremony will be held at 4:30 pm with the performance of Maung Mitta Anyint troupe and entertainment of vocalists. All the profits are going to the hospital and booths are available free of charge. Admission fees are free and market festivals are going to be held in coming years.

Myanmar win two gold, two silver and bronze in SEA Games
The XXV SEA Games was opened today. Myanmar women's Sepak Takraw team won a gold medal for the country. At the events, Myanmar women's team stood first with 690 points, Vietnam second with 650 and the Philippines shared third place with Indonesia. Myanmar men's Sepak Takraw team won one silver medal. Today, on 9 December, Myanmar Sports has won two gold medals, two silvers and one bronze in the respective events.

Gusto Launches graphic design course
Gusto now opened Graphic Design Course with the aim of generating skillful graphic designers. The training covers lecture on knowledgeable thinking not only for technical skills but also for conceptual skills. The trainers will have a chance to observe both design and colour theories. With teaching practical and tutorial platforms, design theory and colour principle will be taught to the trainees in order that they will be able to create advanced design software. Three months diploma Course for French language to be opened
The duration of trainings for diploma in French will be converted to three months course for anyone who wants to study French Language. Previously, duration for diploma training is ten months in a year and it is now transformed into three times by three months in a year. After the successful completion of diploma training, trainees can directly attend to the Universities in French without attending the French language training course.
