World Ranked Compound Archery Competition At Yangon December 11 To 13
World ranked Asia Compound Archery Competition, 2008 accepted and held in Myanmar as the host country Kyaukkasan Archery Ground and Myanmar bagged five gold and three silvers standing first as country-wise. Contesting teams participated in the competition were including Myanmar, host country, India, Thai, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and China with totaling six country and 27 athletes.

Nearly Extinct Spoon-Billed-Sandpiper Will Be Under Research
One of the hibernated birds Spoon-billed sandpiper which was predicted only 200 heads existing in the world will be under research in Myanmar beginning from the second week of January. In doing so, together with Russia Expert, Biodiversity Association and Natural Conservation Association ( BANCA ) of Myanmar and Myanmar Bird and Natural Conservation Association will cooperate.
