Myanmar Photographic Association inviting photos for MyanmarThaing Competitions
In cooperation with the Myanmar Thaing Federation the Myanmar Photographic Association is inviting the photos for Myanmar Thaing ( martial arts ) competitions. The contesting photos are restricted to be the Thaing Competition, Bando competition( Myanmar martial arts without weapons), Mind- Concentration ( Theidi Kyintzin) photos. The photos has to be send not later than 4 April to the Myanmar Phoptographic Association.

42nd Gem Exhibition to be held
42nd Myanmar Gem Exhibition will be going to be hold at Head office of Myanmar Gem Trading Enterprise on Kabaeaye Pagoda road from 30 March to 7 April. Jade lots will be on sale from 2 to 4 April and Gem lots will on 5 to 6 April and, but for the pearl lots its sale will be on 7 April.

Skeleton revealed at Ancient City Han Lin upgraded the life of Han Lin
The life expectancy of ancient City Han Lin will have to count more as the skeleton in the form of semi-fossil, its life to be estimated over 4000 years was found on 3 March near old City, Han Lin in Sagaing Division. The fossils were revealed by chance by a former at his farmland and also uncovered two water pots with it. Over the last three months semi-fossil two skulls were discovered not too far from the place where the latter fossil was found.

The world rarest listed stone founded in Kachin State
It was learnt that "Painite", the world rarest listed stone was discovered more at Namyar region in Kachin State. “Painite” was uncovered unexpectedly on November, 2004. Painte is the quality class stone in gem category with 8 grade in hardness and also is the mineral one the most rarest all over the world.

Thingyan trip of Chindwin and Thanlwin starts from Five Star Jetty on 10 April
According to the source, Chindwin and Thanlwin boats will set sail its Thingyan trip on 10 April from Five Star Jetty at Tharketa. Chindwin boat will cruise to Kawthaung, Rannaung and Myeik and ThanLwin boat sail to Dawei, Maungmakan and Thahtay Kyun. A ticket price of Chindwin trip is 65,000 Ks and children under 10 years old are allowed free and ticket will be keep on selling until the time of departure. For the trip of Thanlwin a ticket will cost 60,000 Ks and under 5 years old children will be free.
