| MYANMAR MOVING CLOSER TO THE SEMIS |
Myanmar ( scorers )
- Aung Kyaw Moe ( 7th, 52nd )
- Zaw Htaik ( 35th )
- Soe Lin Tun ( 44th )
- Zaw Zaw ( 56th )
- Tint Naing Tun Thein ( 63rd )
Philippines ( scorers )

Myanmar dominated from the opening whistle and opened the scoring after seven minutes when
a free kick from the left was worked to Aung Kyaw Moe, who fired home from the edge of the box.
Kyaw Moe, Yan Paing, Zaw Zaw and Lwin Oo all had their great changes but they were unable to keep their shots on target.
When the Coach David Booth replaced Yan Paing, with Zaw Htaik in the 35th minute, Zaw Htaik proved to the coach that he made a correct decision by scoring a goal on his first touch.
Later Soe Lin Tun ran on to beat Mercado at his near post, after receving a back heel pass from Zaw Zaw to make a secure 3 points his team just before half-time break.
After the second half, Myanmar team were still charging up to score more goals which will give them a leader board on the
Group A table. Aung Kyaw Moe scoring at 52nd, Zaw Zaw scoring at 56th and Tint Naing Tun Thein scoring at 63rd made is possible. It look's like Myanmar have found their touch and the team is now in a good position for the getting into the top four at the Tiger Cup 2002.
Myanmar Coach David Booth praised the effort of his team, particularly in the first half when they peppered the Philippines goals with short.
So the question will be " will the team going to stick to the same formula against the Cambodia who are now the under-dog of the Group A when they meet on 19-12-2002 ?".
