| winning streak for MYANMAR
|
Myanmar gave
pressure to Cambodia but with tight defence and lack of ability to
score left Myanmar Team goalless in the first-half. Lwin Oo Tried
to score but the kick does not have power to find the net of the
cambodia goal. It was a very good chance for Myanamr to lead the
game early. Myanmar charged back at the start of the second-half
knowing that they needed a point in this game, Zaw Zaw ( 10 )
gave a light to the team by scoring an early goal.Soon after, the
second goal was scored by Lwin Oo ( 7 ).From that moment on,
Myanmar Team scores continueously till the end of the match from
Zaw Htaik ( 17 ) , Lwin Oo ( 7 ) ,and Tint Naing Tun
Thein( 16 ).
Myanmar Coach, David Booth :
" Today's game gives us a real chance to take a stranglehold on this competition. We now have four days before
the game against Vietnam and we are looking forward to it." He also add that
" The players knew they had to win the game to put us in the fight for the semifinals. And that was why they were
trying so hard to get the goals. "
Myanmar team can now
enjoy a well-deserved break before taking on the Group favourite Vietnam on the
coming Monday in the game that will determine who will go to the semi-final as a
group leader.
Now Myanmar Team have seven points from three matches and probably only requires a draw in their final outing
against Vietnam to secure their place in the last four.
